After lots of emails and photos I went to Nice to meet Timon and bring him home. After having admired and cuddled him I had a great day.

Breakfast on the beach, sightseeing Côte d'Azur, lunch on a terrace in Cannes in inspiring company. It was as wonderful as unrealistic.

In the afternoon we went to Mme. Emeric of the well-known kennel l'Estérazur du Lac. Here I met quite a few members of Timon's family. Corinne, who is a good friend of the family, showed me a bottle of Soho, a French liquor. As this liquor was as strong as Timon's character she decided to give him the same name: "Il était le chef de la portée". 

Once I was at home Timon immediately fastened his reputation as 'le chef'.He leaped upon Simba and it only took him a second to get Simba on his back. Simba was completely bewildered by the French temperament. Fortunately this story has got a happy ending. Simba en Timon have become friends for life.
